This listing is for a 5" Compact Inline Filter System with 5 Micron Filter
The 5" Inline Filter System is literally fitted in the line of pipework that feeds the cold side of the existing tap, the end result is that all the water that flows through the cold side of the tap is filtered, thus eliminating the need to buy, position and fit an additional filter tap. 

The 15mm supply pipe should be fitted with an Isolation valve before entering the filter housing and the 15mm pipework continues from the Housing to the tap, very little mains pressure is lost at the tap but this is dependant on the type of cartridge used.

The 5" housing, as part of this system is supplied as standard with a 5 micron Carbon filter which removes the smell and taste of Chlorine.

As standard the housing comes with 1/2" BSP female inlet and outlet ports, we include 2 x 1/2" BSP straight connectors to convert the housing to 1/2" BSP Male connections.

Depending on which way the bracket is fitted the inlet and outlet can be positioned on either side to suit the existing pipework, the screws are included to attach the wall bracket.
