Aqua Cure 20" Jumbo Nitrate Reduction Cartridge
Each Aqua Cure nitrate reduction cartridge uses Nitrex™ resin to remove nitrates and sulphates from potable water supplies. The resin is designed to give (donate) a chloride ion in exchange for nitrate or sulphate. Three standard cartridges are available as detailed below. The cartridges should not be used on water supplies of an unknown microbial quality.
Each cartridge has a finite exchange capacity based upon the combined total of nitrates and sulphates in the feed water (ppm). The total capacity should not be exceeded, so regular checks should be made, to confirm the levels being treated, the volume throughput of a given cartridge and the quality of the treated water supply. A water meter can be of benefit when looking to gain optimal performance. If in doubt, always consult your supplier.
