Aqua Quality Clear Car - Spot Free Rinse System
Clear Car by Aqua Quality: Pure Water Rinse for a Spotless Finish
Wash, rinse, walk away and come back to a flawless shine.
There’s nothing more frustrating than spending your weekend getting your car looking perfect, only to find it covered in chalky white marks once it dries. Those marks are caused by the minerals in ordinary tap water, and Clear Car is designed to stop them in their tracks. Simply hook it up to your garden hose for the last rinse, and it strips out the minerals before the water ever touches your paintwork. The result is a clean, clear finish that dries naturally, without the need for drying towels or a chamois.
What makes Clear Car special
- A finish without the marks: By removing the dissolved minerals from your water, Clear Car leaves paintwork, windows and trim drying crystal clear.
- Put the towels away: Let your car dry on its own and save yourself time, effort and the risk of towel scratches and swirl marks.
- No fiddly setup: It arrives with the resin already inside and the head already fitted. Attach the fittings, connect your hose and you’re good to go.
- Takes the guesswork out: The included TDS meter lets you test your water whenever you like, so you’ll always know when the resin needs refreshing.
- Tough and portable: The strong woven fibreglass vessel sits on a wide, steady base, and the carry handle makes moving it around easy.
- Versatile: Perfect for vans, caravans, motorbikes and windows too. If it’s prone to water spots, Clear Car can help.
The science behind it
Ordinary tap water carries dissolved minerals such as calcium and magnesium. As water evaporates from your car, those minerals stay behind and form the white spots you’re used to seeing. Clear Car is filled with thousands of tiny resin beads that grab hold of these minerals as water passes through, swapping them out so that only pure water comes out of the hose.
How often will I need new resin?
That depends on where you live. Water hardness varies from region to region across the UK, and the more minerals in your water, the more work the resin has to do. Customers in soft water areas will find their resin goes a long way, while those in hard water areas, which includes much of England, will need to replace it more often. Your TDS meter will show you when it’s time, and every pack of replacement resin includes simple instructions for swapping it over.
Getting the best from Clear Car
- Wash and rinse with normal tap water first, then switch to Clear Car for the final rinse. Less water through the resin means more washes from it.
- Use a light mist setting on your hose and rinse slowly. A gentle flow lets the resin remove as many minerals as possible.
- Only connect Clear Car to a cold water supply.
- Pressure washers aren’t recommended, as they push water through too quickly for the resin to work properly.
- Keep it somewhere frost-free indoors during the winter months.
- The water is for cleaning only, so please don’t drink it.
